The story is about three jobless men named Raju, Shyam, and Baburao and their struggle of earning money. The humor of this movie is hilarious, and it can surely make your mood bright.

3. Lagaan (2001)

Actor Aamir Khan has presented the Bollywood industry with many remarkable movies, and Lagaan is one of those.

The story revolves around a small village in India during the British era. Burdened by high tariffs and several years of drought, the residents of the village requested to reduce taxes. However, an arrogant British army officer challenges them to play cricket to avoid paying the taxes.

4. Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham (2001)

Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, or simply K3G, is a film produced by Karan Jahar. The movie has some of the top Bollywood celebrities, including Sharukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor.
The movie shows the ups and downs of a father and son. Rahul is an adopted son of the billionaire Raichand family. The problem started between him and his father when he married a woman of a middle-class family.

5. Devdas (2002)

Based on the famous novel of Bengali writer Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay, Devdas is no doubt a masterpiece. Starring Sharukh Khan as Devdas, Aiswarya Roy as Paro, and Madhuri Dixit as Chandramukhi.

The movie is about a hopeless romantic, Devdas. He became an alcoholic, as he could not marry the girl he loved.

6. Munna Bhai MBBS (2003)

Munna Bhai Mbbs is one of the top Bollywood comedies of the early decade. The story began when a doctor humiliated Munna Bhai’s father. So, he joined the same medical college as the doctor to avenge the insult with the help of someone.

7. Rang De Basanti (2006)

Rang De Basanti is a movie about a group of friends. The story begins when a British filmmaker casted them in a film. The story was about the freedom fighters under British rule. 

Even though they were not fond of politics, the death of their friend because of corruption affected them. So, inspired by the freedom fighters they represent in the film, they decided to avenge the killing.

8. Tare Zameen Par (2007)

The story shows us how teachers help us to take the right step. A child named Ishaan loves to daydream. However, no one understood his feelings, and his parents sent him to a boarding school. There he met a teacher who helped him see things in a new way.

9. Jab We Met (2007)

Jab we met is a rom-com starring Kareena Kapoor and Saheed Kapoor that can make your heart flutter.

The story started when a business tycoon depressed with his life met a lively girl. He found himself being involved in the crazy life of this girl.

10. 3 Idiots (2009)

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, 3 idiots is a wonderful blockbuster Bollywood movie. Starring Aamir Khan, R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, and many more.

Inspired by the real-life story of an engineer cum scientist Sonam Wangchuk. The backdrop of the movie is an engineering college where Raju, Farhan, and Rancho first met. The film displays their life of college days.
