3. Lagaan (2001)
Actor Aamir Khan has presented the Bollywood industry with many remarkable movies, and Lagaan is one of those.
The story revolves around a small village in India during the British era. Burdened by high tariffs and several years of drought, the residents of the village requested to reduce taxes. However, an arrogant British army officer challenges them to play cricket to avoid paying the taxes.

Munna Bhai Mbbs is one of the top Bollywood comedies of the early decade. The story began when a doctor humiliated Munna Bhai’s father. So, he joined the same medical college as the doctor to avenge the insult with the help of someone.
7. Rang De Basanti (2006)
Rang De Basanti is a movie about a group of friends. The story begins when a British filmmaker casted them in a film. The story was about the freedom fighters under British rule.
Even though they were not fond of politics, the death of their friend because of corruption affected them. So, inspired by the freedom fighters they represent in the film, they decided to avenge the killing.
8. Tare Zameen Par (2007)
The story shows us how teachers help us to take the right step. A child named Ishaan loves to daydream. However, no one understood his feelings, and his parents sent him to a boarding school. There he met a teacher who helped him see things in a new way.
