The Safilguda Lake, which is located in the district of Old Neredmet, is a favourite spot among residents of the nearby areas for morning walks, jogging, meditation, etc. There is also a small island in the middle of the lake, called the Nadimi Bird Island which is covered with thick timber that attracts many migratory birds.
