DESCRIPTION:
University BDT College of Engineering (UBDTCE), Davanagere, is located in the central part of Karanataka (State), India. Started in the year 1951, it was the only Government Engineering College in the state. The College was named after the donors Bramhappa Devendrappa Tanvanappanavar (BDT), who donated 1.5 lakh rupees for the construction of buildings. The institution is a member of Red Cross Society. Other Cells available are Science and Technology Entrepreneurs' Park (STEP), Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), ISTE Staff and Students Chapters.
