He completed his MBBS degree at R G Kar Medical College & Hospital in Kolkata and Master Class & Postgraduate diploma in Diabetes from Royal College of Physicians & Eacme, UK. He did Postgraduate Diploma in Community Mental health from Nimhans, Bangalore. Also did Masterclass in Sexology.
The doctor provides diabetes & obesity management, including dietary guidelines, and counseling for mental & Sexual problems treatment. He strives to spread awareness regarding diabetes among the public. Recently He got Life Time achievement Award for his service in the field of Diabetology. In addition, he is a Life Member of the Indian medical Association.
