DESCRIPTION:
Birla Mandir is a beautiful sacred place dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara of Tirumala Tirupati situated in Hyderabad. It was built using a gigantic quantity of white marble, nearly 2000 tonnes, brought from Rajasthan. It's one of Telangana's most-visited sacred sites. Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna built Birla Mandir's 200 ft high glistening white structure in the 19th century. The Birla temple architectural style is a fusion of North Indian and South Indian style architecture.
